The Aim water temperature sensor can measure and sample water temperature providing accurate readings.

AiM Water (Coolant) Temperature Sensor

The AiM PT100 water (coolant) temperature kart sensor is for use with all MyChron kart dash/data loggers (including the new MyChron 6 and the older generation MyChron 5 & 4). The sensor can measure and sample water temperature providing the most accurate readings.

The Thermo resistor should be in the cooling system/oil sump. It is recommended to install the sensor away from heat and electromagnetic interference sources like the RPM or Lap Receiver cables.

Connections

The sensors are sold with a 25cm cable and optional patch leads are available. MyChron 5 will require a 712-719 3 pin patch lead.

The MyChron 5 S 2T, will require the MyChron 2T patch lead TC plug & black 719 TR plug. All patch leads can be found in the accessories tab.
